How to Submit a Complete Application
Step 1 – Prepare your Documents
- Review the Application Form and the Required Documents Glossary to determine what you need to submit. You can contact staff with questions about the process such as:
- Which application type you need to submit
- How a specific requirement relates to your project
Step 2 – Submit your Application
- Review the Digital File Submission Requirements for your application and email planning@saanich.ca to receive instructions on how to submit your application. We cannot accept or process incomplete applications
Step 3 – Staff Review of your Submission
- When you submit your documents, notify the Planning Department so staff can begin reviewing your materials.
Step 4 – Paying your Fees and Tracking your Progress
When your submission is complete, you will receive an email with steps to pay your application fee(s) via your MySaanich account or in person at 770 Vernon Avenue via cheque, cash, debit and credit card. Note a 2.4% service fee applies to all credit card payments.
Upon receipt of payment, your application will be prepared for circulation. You can create a MySaanich account to track your application’s progress through the review process.
