Statutory holiday hours for all centres will be reflected on facility status page.

The entire facility, except for the weight room, will be closed from June 15 to 28. We will fully reopen on Monday, June 29 at 6am.

The weight room will remain open from June 17 to 28, from 8am to 8pm (last entrance at 7:30pm). When accessing the weight room, please follow signage and staff direction regarding maintenance work and potential impacts.

Note: During the closure, phones will be answered from 8am to 3pm from June 15 to 16, and 8am to 8pm from June 17 to 28, Monday to Friday, for registration and inquiries.

Steam Room Closure

The steam room will remain closed when Gordon Head reopens on Monday, July 29.

During the facility's annual maintenance closure, staff commissioned an engineering assessment to help inform a full steam room rebuild project that had been anticipated and was scheduled for 2027.

That assessment identified conditions that require immediate structural repair and renovation work. Accordingly, the District plans to begin the rebuild process earlier than anticipated, resulting in the closure of the steam room until further notice.

This closure affects the steam room only. The general pool area, hot tub, and sauna will remain open, and there is no other impact on pool operations.
