Saanich Commonwealth Place is hosting the 2025 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials June 7 to 12. Facility impacts will span June 3 to12.

• The Weight Room is temporarily closed for approximately four (4) months beginning May 12 to address essential facility maintenance work.

• Full facility closure June 16 to 29 for annual maintenance.

Patrons, please note these facility impacts due to the Green and Accessible Improvement Project: 

• The main entrance is closed and has been temporarily relocated. Patrons may enter the facility via the accessible entrance at the northeast doors (arts wing).
• The existing Reception Desk will be closed starting June 10. A temporary Reception Desk will be available near the northeast facility entrance (arts wing).
• Upcoming full facility closure from 5pm on August 1 through August 4.

The facility is undergoing a Mechanical Upgrade Project aimed at decarbonizing facility operations. Construction work is ongoing and we anticipate service disruptions.
