What's included 

Single admission and Access Passes provides drop-in access to the following classes, activities and amenities:

• Weight room
• Swimming, hot tub, sauna, and steam room
• Aquafit classes
• Skating (skate rentals available for an additional fee)
• Reserved Drop-In group fitness classes, basic yoga classes, indoor cycling classes, sports, and stick and puck

Access Pass options 

An Access Pass gives you unlimited drop-in access to Saanich Recreation facilities.

1-Month Access Pass

Pay once for unlimited drop-in access for one month. Your month starts on the day you buy the pass. You can convert it into a Continuous Access Pass during the paid month or within 7 days after it expires.

Continuous Access Pass

Pay monthly by credit card or direct withdrawal from your bank account. After the first month, the monthly rate is reduced. You can cancel any time before your next scheduled payment date. Your pass stays active until the end of your current paid month.

To buy a Continuous Access Pass in person, bring a void cheque or an Electronic Funds Transfer form from your financial institution.

Annual Pass

Pay once and enjoy unlimited access for 365 days.

Access Pass Terms and conditions

• Access Passes are valid at all four Saanich recreation centres.
• If you have a 10x Pass, the remaining value can be applied to a new 1-Month Pass or Continuous Access Pass. Contact any Saanich Recreation Centre for help.
• Students must show a valid student card or a letter from a school registrar confirming enrolment at an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Annual Access Passes are non-refundable unless the reason is compassionate or medical, in accordance with the refund policy.
• Replacement cards for lost or stolen Access Passes cost $10.

Single admissions and multi-visit passes 

Single admissions and multi-visit passes offer the same drop-in access without a longer-term commitment.

Single admission and multi-visit pass terms

• A single family admission is valid for up to 2 parents or guardians and up to 4 children, whether related or not, or all children in the same family if there are more than 4.
• Family multi-visit passes are valid for up to 2 parents or guardians and up to 4 children or youth in the same household.
• Single admissions and multi-visit passes are non-refundable unless the reason is compassionate or medical, in accordance with the refund policy.
• Students must show a valid student card or a letter from a school registrar confirming enrolment at an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Replacement cards for lost or stolen multi-visit passes cost $10.

Leisure Assistance Pass

The Leisure Assistance Pass is for people with disabilities of all ages who need the support of another person to take part in leisure activities.

Greater Victoria Annual Regional Recreation Pass

This pass gives you access to 14 Greater Victoria recreation centres for $600. It can be purchased in person at any Saanich Recreation Centre.

Promotional and seasonal passes

Three-Month Summer Access Pass

Make the most of your summer and enjoy drop-in access to all four Saanich recreation centres for three months at a promotional price when you purchase in May or June.

Your one-time purchase of a Three-Month Summer Access Pass carries no commitment, and the three months begin when you purchase it (before June 30).

When your Three-Month Summer Access Pass concludes, you can choose to convert it to a Continuous Access Pass any time before October 15, 2026, and keep your access without paying the first-month fee.

Terms and conditions:

• Three-Month Summer Access Passes are available for purchase through June 30, 2026.
• The Three-Month Summer Access Pass validity period includes summer recreation centre hours and planned facility shutdown periods at Gordon Head Recreation Centre, G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre, and Saanich Commonwealth Place. It may also include unforeseen recreation facility closures and service adjustments.
• No refunds, cancellations, pauses, or extensions.
• The Three-Month Summer Access Pass is non-transferrable.
• Annual Passes may not be cancelled or refunded to purchase a Three-Month Summer Access Pass

Splash Savings Swim Sessions 

Splash Savings swims are select swim sessions offered at a reduced admission rate. They are listed on the swim schedules for Saanich Commonwealth Place and Gordon Head Recreation Centre.

Please note: Splash Savings admissions are valid for aquatic areas only.

Summer Swim 'n' Skate Pass for Children and Youth 5-18yrs

For a one-time cost of $35, children and youth ages 5 to 18 can enjoy unlimited access to select swimming and skating sessions from June to August.

2026 passes are available online or in person at any Saanich recreation centre beginning March 25. Passes are valid from June 1 through August 31, 2026.

Buy a Summer Swim 'n' Skate Pass

Included swimming sessions

• Leisure, Open, Fun and Youth Swims at Saanich Commonwealth Place and Gordon Head Recreation Centre.
• Children age 7 and under must always be within arm’s reach of an adult age 16 or older during all swimming sessions.
• Children age 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult age 16 or older when attending Leisure Swims at Gordon Head Recreation Centre.
• Children age 8 and older can attend Fun Swims without adult supervision.
• Children must be age 10 or older to attend Youth Swims and may do so without adult supervision.

Included skating sessions

• Everyone Welcome, Adult & Tot Ice Play, and Adult & Child Hockey Social skating sessions at G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre. Skate rentals are included!
• Parents or guardians must be on the ice during Adult & Tot Ice Play and Adult & Child Hockey Social. One parent or guardian may be accompanied by up to two children.

Summer Swim ‘n’ Skate Pass terms

• The Summer Swim 'n' Skate Pass is non-refundable.
• Passes are valid from June 1 through August 31, 2026.
• Annual maintenance closures for Saanich Recreation facilities may fall within the Summer Swim ‘n’ Skate Pass’ validity period.
