Drop-in Childminding at Saanich Commonwealth Place

You'll like it - they'll love it! Saanich Commonwealth Place is pleased to provide quality childminding care in a safe, friendly and fun environment. We recommend 1 hour and up to 1.5 hours per visit.

• Infants to 10 years
• Parents/guardians must be on the premises while your child receives care

Schedule

  Note: Childminding is not available on stat holidays and during Spring Break:

• Spring Break: March 16, 2026 - March 27, 2026.
• Childminding returns from Spring Break on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, and run until June 18, 2026.

Fees

• $6.15/hour/child
• Third child and subsequent children of the same family are $3/hour/child
• 10 hour pass: $55.50
• 25 hour pass: $125
• Passes available for purchase at reception
