Saanich is proposing a big change to how food trucks operate in the District.

Staff are working to finalize changes that will allow food vendors with a valid Business Licence and Park Permit to operate in any P-4 zoned park, at any time of year (other than during Saanich-sponsored events where vendors will be contacted by event organizers). Park Permits for specific parks will be conditional on siting and operational requirements detailed for that park.

The Bylaw amendments needed to make this happen are anticipated to be complete by late June. Check back here for updates and more details in late May.
