A wide range of residents and visitors enjoy our trails every day:
- cyclists
- walkers
- joggers

- wheelchair users
- sometimes horse riders
Remember to follow these simple guidelines to make our trails safe and enjoyable for all.
- Keep to the right except to pass.
- Control your speed.
- Cyclists must yield to pedestrians.
- Warn others when passing.
- Go single file when passing.
- Control and clean up after your pets.
Respect the environment and neighbours by keeping to the trail.
Most of our park trails allow cycling. There are a few exceptions in our bylaw. No person shall ride a bicycle in any of the following parks except in a parking lot or on a paved roadway or designated trail:
- Cedar Hill Park (except for Derby Road trail connector)
- Glencoe Cove Park
- Knockan Hill Park
- Mount Tolmie Park
- PKOLS Mount Douglas Park
- Rithet’s Bog Nature Sanctuary
