Call to Artists: 2027 Saanich Exhibition Program
Saanich gallery spaces foster community engagement by presenting a diverse array of visual art and artists, offering opportunities to exhibit in a public setting.
The Municipality of Saanich invites individual artists, collectives, and community group exhibitions from local and regional communities to apply for our 2027 exhibition program. We are proud to showcase a wide range of artistic practices and creative exploration at all stages of development, and we welcome submissions from individuals and groups of all backgrounds and lived experiences.

Call for Exhibition Selection Committee Members: 2025-27 Roster
The District of Saanich invites art-experienced community members from Greater Victoria to help review and evaluate applications for the 2027 Main Gallery exhibition programs. A small honorarium is provided.
Saanich values diverse perspectives and lived experiences in the selection process. Applicants from equity-deserving communities are encouraged to apply.
Committee Members will be asked to:
- Attend one information and orientation session (up to 1.5 hours)
- Dedicate up to 6 hours to review applications (online)
- Participate in a half-day meeting to discuss and evaluate proposals
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant knowledge, experience, or training in the visual arts.
- Ability to provide informed, objective feedback on exhibition proposals.
- Experience serving on committees, artist juries and/or gallery experience is considered an asset.
