Invitation to Request for Proposal: For “RFP 08/19 - Electric Automobile”. The RFP document and attachments have been posted on BC Bid website: https://www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca/open.dll/welcome?language=En, under Solicitation Number: RFP 08/19 or by contacting Purchasing Services at 250-475-5494, local 3481.
Scope of Work: The purpose of this RFP is to select one (1) qualified Proponent to enter into a Contract with the Corporation of the District of Saanich (“District”) to supply an initial order (the “Initial Order”) of one (1) Electrical Automobile with the following attributes:
a) Base Model
b) Current Year or newer
c) Requirements as specified in Section 4 – Scope of Work and Responsibilities.
Section 5 outlines the evaluation process for selecting the Preferred Proponent. To receive full consideration, each Proposal should follow the instructions, requirements, format, and number of copies provided in Section 2.
The term of the contract will be for one (1) year starting from the date of award to June 30, 2020, with an option to renew for one (1) additional one (1) year terms, upon mutual agreement.
The District may, during the term and any renewal thereof, from time to time at its discretion, purchase additional electric automobiles from the Contractor provided such vehicle models are substantially similar to those supplied as part of the Initial Order.
