Overview & Background: The purpose of this Quotation is to select one (1) qualified Bidder to enter into Contract with the District of Saanich for the provision of a ModularMobile Service Capsule/ Unit. This unit is to be fabricated and installed onto a Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD 4WD Crew Cab Truck.
The intended use of this vehicle will be as a Fire Mechanical Service Unit for use in the District of Saanich responding to routine and priority service calls to Saanich Fire Department Emergency Fire Apparatus and equipment. The parts, equipment and tools carried will include, but is not limited to: Mechanical Tools, fittings, replacement filters, pump repair valves and components.
This Quotation shall be exclusively for the Modular Mobile Service Capsule/Unit. The associated Item, a Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD 4WD Crew Cab, shall not be part of this Quotation.
General: The successful Bidder will supply and install a Miranda V335 or equivalent molded modular service body to fit into factory truck box and bed. If submitting a bid on an equivalent, Clause 14.0 in the Instructions to Bidders will apply
