Want to have a birthday party at the pool, gymnasium or ice rink? Choose a theme and location and book your party with us.

Gordon Head Recreation Centre

POOL PARTY 12yrs and younger

Make a splash and have fun with our poolside climbing wall, monkey bars, current pool, and water toys! Bring your own decorations, cake, and refreshments to enjoy our party room after the swim. Includes two-hour FUn Swim and one hour in the party room. Parent supervision is required.
Gordon Head pool is only able to guarantee for a maximum of 20 swimmers, including supervising adults.

Note: Children 7 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult (16 years and older) and be within arm's reach in the water. The ratio is one adult to three children. Supervising adults that meet our 1:3 ratio are welcome to join in the pool at no additional cost.

Times: Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4pm

Saanich Commonwealth Place

SPLASH-TASTIC BIRTHDAY BASH

Explore the Wave Pool, Wibit, diving boards, and rope swing for two hours in our exciting pool area. Our Fun Leader will entertain the group for the pool portion of the party with engaging activities. Then enjoy some party time away from the pool with an hour in the party room. (Refreshments and decorations not provided).

Note: Children 7 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult (16 years and older) and be within arm's reach in the water. The ratio is one adult to three children. Supervising adults that meet our 1:3 ratio are welcome to join in the pool at no additional cost.

UPSIDE YOUTH CENTRE PARTY 11yrs+ 

Come party in the Upside Youth Centre! Enjoy the ping-pong, pool and foosball tables. Make your party your own by bringing games, music and food.

All participants using the space must be 11 years or older.

Host your party at Cedar Hill Recreation Centre. We are centrally located and have a variety of rooms to rent for you to supervise your own party.

Royal Oak Middle School (ROMS)

CUPCAKE PARTY 5yrs+

Leave the mess to us and enjoy a party in our fabulous teaching kitchen. Bake and decorate chocolate or vanilla cupcakes, play games with our party leader, and craft your own personalized chef’s hat! Up to 12 participants, including the birthday child.

JR CHEF PARTY 8yrs+

Celebrate your birthday as a junior chef in our fabulous teaching kitchen. Craft your own personalized pizza and bake and decorate your own chocolate or vanilla cupcakes. Play games with our dynamic party leader and personalize an apron to take home. Up to 12 participants, including the birthday child.

ROMS THROWBACK BASH! 5rs+

Celebrate the joy of birthdays with Throwback Bash! It’s a high energy party filled with classic games and hands-on activities that never go out of style. G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre

PENGUIN PARTY 12yrs and younger

Birthdays are nice on the ice! Enjoy an Everyone Welcome Skate and an hour in our party room. Bring your own decorations, cake and refreshments. Parent supervision is required. Skate rentals included in cost. Bring your own helmet. No additional charge for supervising adults to a max. of 5. Decorate and/or drop off items up to 30 minutes prior to room rental time. Pick up party package at customer service.

Times: Saturdays 12:15-2:30pm, Sundays from 1:30-4:35pm.
Fees: 10 birthday party participants: $130. Up to 10 additional participants. Extra fees apply.

YOGA PARTY 13+ yrs

Gather your group and celebrate together in a fun and relaxing way with your own private yoga class. This class includes basic poses, breathing techniques and music, and concludes with calming relaxation or meditation. Mats, props and a certified instructor are provided for a memorable and healthy celebration. Ideal for birthdays, team events and other special occasions. A single flat-rate fee covers up to 15 guests.

FLIPSIDE YOUTH CENTRE PARTY 10yrs+

Come party in the Flipside Youth Centre! Enjoy the billiards table, ping pong tables and the Bluetooth disco party speaker. Make your party your own by bringing games, music and food.

All participants using the space must be 10 years or older.

D.I.Y. PARTY 12 yrs and younger

You bring the supplies; we provide the space! The community hall us empty when you arrive, with access to tables, chairs and a fridge for storing party food during your event. Looking to burn off energy outside? Permits for the lacrosse box and sports fields can be arranged at the time of booking.

Dink, drive, drop shot and smash - it's time for your Pickleball Party! We'll have the gym set up with pickleball nets and paddles so you can dive into exciting matches with your friends! The Great Birthday Bake-Off 8yrs+

Ready, set, bake! Compete in this fun-filled bake-off where creativity and cupcakes collide. After baking and decorating, you and your friends will decide: who made the most unique cupcake, the tastiest, or the funniest? After the completion, enjoy free time in the party room with your own food and supplies. Adult supervision in the party room is required.
