Exhibit with Saanich

Our gallery spaces showcase a breadth of artistic practice and creative exploration at all levels of development.

We pride ourselves on showcasing local and regional artists as well as collaborating with the community to promote art education and appreciation.

How it works

Applications are open to everyone, and exhibits run between 4-6 weeks in duration.

Selected artists are provided space to share and display artwork, explore ideas, and build professional practices for curating and installing their own exhibit.

We support your exhibit in a variety of ways, including:

  • Promoting exhibits through the Saanich website and on our social media pages; all other promotions are the responsibility of the artist.
  • Working with the artist(s) to explore and schedule community engagement opportunities in the gallery: including artist openings, in-gallery demonstrations, gallery tours etc…
  • Providing resources for you to develop your exhibit.
  • Providing limited financial aid for applicants that identify as part of an equity-deserving group including 2SLGBTQ+, Indigenous, ethnocultural communities and people with disabilities.

Exhibition Fees

The fee to exhibit in the Main Gallery at The Arts Centre at Cedar Hill is $265+GST.  This helps to cover maintenance and administrative costs associated with the exhibition program.

Municipal Hall gallery spaces are free to exhibit work.

No commissions are taken on the sale of artwork.
