Saanich Municipal Hall Exhibit Spaces

Submissions will be added to a waitlist for 2026-2027

The 2026 Call for Submissions for the Saanich Municipal Hall exhibit spaces are accepted year-round and include a waitlist. There is no fee to exhibit, and applicants will be notified on an ongoing basis regarding the status of their application.

Have you previously exhibited in the gallery spaces at Saanich Municipal Hall?To ensure diverse representation, artists who have exhibited in previous years may not be considered for consecutive years.

Please describe the theme of your proposed exhibition (150 words max)

Submit the following information

A CV (Curriculum Vitae) is a document that outlines your artistic background, including your education, past exhibition history, artistic achievements, and relevant experience. While it is encouraged, it is not mandatory to submit a CV with your application.
Submit up to 10 JPG images of recent / applicable artwork.

Files cannot be larger than 3MB each. Format image files with:  Last name_First name_Title_Year created_medium (Smith_Jane_BeautifulBlue_2024_oiloncanvas) 

Submit a document that contains the title, medium, date and size for each image of artwork uploaded. When completing the online form, ensure all files are uploaded by holding the CTRL key and selecting the images you wish to submit. Click ‘Open’ to confirm your selection. Support materials requiring specialized software, plug-ins, or extensions will not be reviewed. For video submissions, please email the Community Arts and Culture Programmer.

If selected, some of this information may be used for marketing and promotional purposes on the Saanich website and through social media. 

The District of Saanich is not responsible for submission delays, including those caused by technological or network issues on either end. Failure to follow the submission guidelines may result in your application being declined. Mailed applications will not be returned.
