Upcoming phone and online service outages: August 25

The District of Saanich is completing maintenance this week that will result in outages for municipal online services and phones; both outages will happen on Tuesday, August 25 and take approximately two hours to complete. Please see below for outage times.
Online services outage (7 p.m.)
Saanich’s online services will be unavailable from approximately 7 to 9 p.m.
During the outage, the following services will be unavailable:

Online Payments – Payments for utilities, dog licenses, business licenses, permit and development applications and Bylaw Notice/Municipal Tickets.

MySaanich – Property Tax, Utility, Dog, and Business Licence accounts and Development Applications and Permits.

Online Applications – Commercial and Residential Permit Applications, Blasting and Plumbing Applications Board of Variance Applications, Pre-Application Request, Sign Permit Applications, Engineering Permit Applications and Tree Cutting Permit Applications.

District-wide phone line outage (10 p.m.)
All District of Saanich phone lines will be unavailable for approximately two hours starting at 10 p.m.
If you experience an emergency during the planned outage, please contact 9-1-1 immediately. For all non-emergency issue, please report your issue at saanich.ca/report.
For parks or public works related emergencies (ex: leak, flood, sewer back up, tree failure) during the outage, please call 250-880-0647. Please note: voicemail will note be monitored at this temporary number.
