Saanich, BC – Residents are invited to join the District of Saanich's Mayor and Council for an engaging evening of discussion at a Council Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, May 6 at the Hellenic Community Centre (4648 Elk Lake Drive).

This is the second Council Town Hall hosted by the District. The inaugural meeting happened at the Cedar Hill Golf Course on October 22, 2024.

This initiative is in accordance with the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan, which Council committed to initiating a public engagement strategy through town hall meetings.

Where: Hellenic Community Centre (4648 Elk Lake Drive)
When: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025

To register to participate in the meeting, please email council@saanich.ca or call 250-475-5501. To register to speak during the meeting, please inform staff when you register.

The format

The town hall format encourages informal discussions and informative conversations. This meeting will offer residents an open mic session with no set agenda. Residents are welcome to speak on topics of importance, with a limit of three minutes per speaker, following the guidelines set out in the Council Procedure Bylaw.
