The Housing Strategy Task Force (HSTF) has been created to provide Council with recommendations for action-oriented strategies designed to achieve greater housing supply, affordability and diversity and accommodate a broad range of community housing needs now and in the future.
The Task Force is composed of a diverse range of individuals with relevant experience and qualifications, including representatives from the following sectors:
- Academic with Expertise in Urban Development
- BC Housing
- Building Development
- Capital Regional District (CRD)
- Community Support/Not-for-Profit Association
- Housing Advocate
- Members of the Community at Large
- Not-for-Profit Housing
- Planning, Design & Architecture
- Real Estate or Financial
- Rental Apartment Landlord/Property Management
- Saanich Community Association Network (SCAN)
