Purpose

The Healthy Saanich Advisory Committee:

  • Promotes effective communication, engagement and collaboration between the Municipality and its citizens 
  • Advises Council on and recommends policies to support a healthier and more livable community

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer (LGBTQ) Sub-Committee

At their October 26, 2015 meeting, Council approved the creation of a LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Trans-gender and Queer) sub-committee under the Healthy Saanich Advisory Committee for a one-year trial period.  To read the minutes of the LGBTQ sub-committee go to our LGBTQ 2016 Agendas & Minutes page.
