Description:

The District of Saanich's Parks, Recreation and Community Services department is seeking a team player to help drive our mission of Healthy Nature, Healthy People, and Healthy Community while supporting our vision: a Saanich where everyone belongs.

You’ll work within a team where service excellence, learning, knowledge sharing, feedback and accountability are highly valued, and where communication, trust, respect, and positivity form the foundation for everything we do.

The Recreation Division is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join the team at Saanich Commonwealth Place. Through both hands-on work and team leadership, you will provide direction in program development, coordination, scheduling, and continuous improvement. Aligned to these programs you will oversee their marketing and promotion, managing budgets and resources, advancing divisional and departmental strategic initiatives, and building strong partnerships with community organizations to ensure programs are delivered efficiently, inclusively, and with a consistent focus on customer experience.
