Description:

Saanich Commonwealth Place is seeking multiple certified Aquatic Instructors who will be responsible for lesson management of our Lifesaving Society swimming lesson programs.  This includes planning and preparing of assigned programs; instructing assigned classes; evaluating participants; record keeping and public relations. The successful candidates will also ensure participants are taught according to safety and skill standards outlined by Saanich and Aquatic agencies. 

Requirements include completion of Grade 10; current Lifesaving Society BC Swim Instructor Award; over three months, up to and including six months experience and a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector check (PIC-VS).

In addition to the interview process, testing will be conducted. Although we thank all applicants for applying, only those under consideration will be contacted.

Successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends (hours/shifts are subject to change).
