Invitation to Tender:  For “T 26/19 – Shelbourne Street Improvements Project – Phase 1”.  The Tender document and attachments have now been posted on BC Bid website: https://www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca/open.dll/welcome?language=En, Solicitation Number: T 26/19, or by contacting Purchasing Services at 250-475-5494, local 3481.

Scope of Work:   The Owner invites tenders for:

The work associated with this contract includes the construction of improvements to Shelbourne St. between Torquay Dr. and Garnet Rd. to facilitate construction of multi-modal transportation enhancements.  Scope of work includes new and rehabilitated underground utilities (water, sanitary sewer, and storm drain), new and upgraded traffic signals & roadway lighting, roadworks, and concrete works. Scope of work also includes minor civil works and traffic signal construction at the intersection of Feltham Rd/Cedar Hill Road.

Tender Drawings and Attachments:Interested Tenderers who wish to receive tender drawings and attachments should the attached the attached USB Flash Drive Request Form and we will send them to you via courier to the designated person on the document.

Non-mandatory Tender Information MeetingA non-mandatory tender meeting is scheduled for December 19th, 2019.  Sign in will start at 9:30 a.m. with the meeting commencing at 10:00 a.m. and will end before 1:00 p.m.

The first part of the meeting will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m." in the Recreation Annex, 780 Vernon Ave in the Learning Centre Room. The Recreation Annex is adjacent to and south-east of the Saanich Municipal Hall.  The Learning Centre Room is to the right as you come in the main upper floor foyer to the Annex and opposite the reception counter.  If, during the initial meeting the Owner deems it necessary, the meeting may re-convene on the project site from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at a location to be specified in the initial meeting.  Parking at 780 Vernon Avenue is very limited.  Meeting attendees are advised to plan accordingly."
