SCOPE OF WORK
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the District of Saanich (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a PDF Plan Markup and Collaboration Software Solution, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Solution being sought is a commercial “off the shelf” (COTS) software tool that provides digital PDF plan review, editing, markup and collaboration functions and includes the following:
• On-premise software to be hosted by the District at the District’s facilities;
• A solution which supports modern end point operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Apple IOS, Google Android)
• Software licenses including any one-time licence fees and any recurring software maintenance fees for the service life of the software;
• Training services to ensure District staff are ready to use the Solution;
• Configuration and implementation of the proposed Solution; and
• Support and maintenance services for the Solution for the term of the Contract.
It is anticipated that the successful proponent will commence work in September 2022 and will complete the project by January 2023.
