Scope of Work:
This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Corporation of the District of Saanich to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Land Capacity Analysis, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars.
The District is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced, professional, and multi-disciplinary consulting firms to undertake a land capacity analysis. The primary objective of this Project is to provide information that can be used to ensure that the District’s land use planning can adequately accommodate its projected population and meet its future housing needs. Key findings of this exercise should inform about current population, occupancy and employment density, and capacity for housing within the District’s Official Community Plan (“OCP”) to accommodate future growth. The Project will also provide context and information to inform planning for employment growth and estimations of market share as well as projected future demand for residential, industrial, and commercial uses.
It is anticipated that the successful proponent will commence work right after the contract awarded, with final Deliverables completed by January 27, 2023.
