Solicitation Number: T 19/21


Provide all labour, materials and products as specified in the drawings and specifications to accommodate the work. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

Demolition work will require the following:

 · Remove existing fibre acoustic ceiling panel, walls, doors and frames, GWB and bulkheads.

 · Remove kitchen millwork, sink and associated plumbing.

 · Remove all appliances including range hood, exhaust fan on roof and all associated ductwork. Kitchen appliances to be handed over to the Owner.

· Remove handrail, picket and support, and safety chain around fire pole. Safety chain to be reinstated on the opposite side of the fire pole.

 · Remove existing blinds.

 · Remove existing lighting.

 · Saw cut existing concrete to accommodate installation of connectrac raceway to run power and data to kitchen island.

Architectural work will require the following:

· New millwork including cupboards, center island, food lockers, display case, storage, stainless steel countertops and backsplash.

· Safety chain to be reinstated on the opposite side of the fire pole.

· New vinyl flooring and base.

· New prep, prime and paint.

· New walls, doors, frames and hardware.

· Install Owner supplied appliances including dishwasher and range.

 Electrical work will require the following:

· Supply and install new luminaires and self-powered pictogram exit signs.

· New data and power.

· Provide rough in for future station alerting speakers, relocate fire alarm horn, and confirm suitability of utilizing existing devices on site prior to installation.

· New fire alarm system.

· Exit and emergency lighting.

· Infrastructure and rough-in for video surveillance system.

· All electrical equipment to be seismically restrained.

· Mechanical work will require the following:

· Gooseneck exhaust ducting.

· Custom fabricated stainless steel floor sink for new mop closet.

· New plumbing and gas and connect new services to existing.

Not in Scope:

· Supply of kitchen appliances and equipment.

· Workstations.

· Supply of wall mounted TV, IT equipment, whiteboards.

· Removal of lockers and furniture prior to construction.

 · Access control.

· Hazmat Abatement of asbestos containing flooring material.

 Mandatory Site Visit: Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 10:00 A.M.
