Saanich Municipal Hall Exhibit Spaces

Submissions are accepted on an on-going basis.

The 2026 Call for Submissions for the Saanich Municipal Hall exhibit spaces are accepted year-round and include a waitlist. There is no fee to exhibit, and applicants will be notified on an ongoing basis regarding the status of their application.

Have you previously exhibited in the gallery spaces at Saanich Municipal Hall?To ensure diverse representation, artists who have exhibited in previous years may not be considered for consecutive years.

Exhibition Details

Please describe the theme of your proposed exhibition (150 words max)

The gallery exhibits at Saanich Municipal Hall run for a duration of 5-6 weeks. Please list your preferred months to exhibit.

Submit the following information

Highly encouraged, but not mandatory
Submit up to 5 JPG images of recent / applicable artwork.

Files cannot be larger than 3MB each. Format image files with:  Last name_First name_Title_Year created_medium (Smith_Jane_BeautifulBlue_2024_oiloncanvas) To ensure all files are uploaded, hold the CTRL key and select all of the images you wish to submit.  Once selected, click ‘Open’ to ensure success. 

Submit a document that contains the title, medium, date and size for each image of artwork uploaded. When completing the online form, ensure all files are uploaded by holding the CTRL key and selecting the images you wish to submit. Click ‘Open’ to confirm your selection. Support materials requiring specialized software, plug-ins, or extensions will not be reviewed. For video submissions, please email the Community Arts and Culture Programmer.

If selected, some of this information may be used for marketing and promotional purposes on the Saanich website and through social media. If you have questions about eligibility, or you need assistance with submitting your proposal, please contact the Exhibition Programmer.

 The District of Saanich is not liable for submission delays, including technological or network issues at either end of the submission. Failure to follow submission guidelines may result in a declined application. Mailed applications will not be returned.
