Saanich, BC – Join the District of Saanich at the Cenotaph at Saanich Municipal Hall (770 Vernon Avenue) on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 10:40 to 11:40 a.m.

 Together, we will pause in a silent moment of remembrance for all those who have served, and continue to serve, our country during times of war, conflict and peace.

 Event details

 The ceremony will begin at 10:40 a.m. with a military parade onto the Cenotaph Lawn. At 11:00 a.m. the flag will be lowered for two minutes of silence, followed by wreath laying.  

 The event is rain or shine and there will not be a livestream of the event this year, as the ceremony is open to the public.

 Getting here 

• Parking: parking is available at the Municipal Hall. Public transportation is encouraged. Please see the event listing for bus route options and bicycle parking.
• Accessibility: limited seating is offered; please be prepared to stand during the ceremony.
• Facilities: there will be no on-site washrooms.
