For immediate release
Saanich, BC – Business licence renewal fees are due by December 31, 2025. Learn about the different ways you can renew for 2026.
All businesses operating in Saanich are required to have a valid Business Licence or Intermunicipal Licence. Renewal invoices were mailed to registered businesses in the fall.
Earlier this year, the District introduced new online services for businesses – including eBilling for a streamlined, paperless licence renewal process.
How to renew
- Online (fastest): sign in to MySaanich to complete your renewal and pay in minutes. You can also enable eBilling to receive future renewal reminders and access your invoice history.
- In person: visit Municipal Hall, 770 Vernon Avenue, and renew at the 2nd floor counter. Please note holiday closure dates on December 25 and 26.
- By mail: mail a cheque with invoice stub.
**The District would like to remind residents that in the event mail service is disrupted, residents continue to be responsible for paying utility bills, parking tickets, and other charges to the District by the due date.
Operating a business in Saanich without a valid business licence may result in fines of up to $200 per day.
