Be a part of the Panama Flats Concept Plan Update!

Saanich, BC – It’s time for a renewed vision for Panama Flats — one that reflects the community’s current uses and values. Saanich residents are invited to discover the District’s draft concept plan for this special place.

The draft plan follows a series engagement activities with a variety of community interest groups. Staff have also been reaching out to local First Nations, offering opportunities for input and to explore possible collaborations. 

People are encouraged to drop in to an upcoming open house to view options for the new plan and learn more about how they were developed. Considerations have included biodiversity and conservation, stormwater management, recreational opportunities, small-scale agriculture and neighbourhood impact.

• Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Location: Northridge Elementary School Gymnasium – 4190 Carey Road

After the open house, feedback will be collected through an online questionnaire. Stay tuned to the project web page for details on the survey launch.

Your feedback is important and will be considered as the draft concept plan is further refined. An updated draft concept plan will be presented to Council in the fall.
