Embark on a visual journey with Juan Pablo and Sharon Lam at their joint exhibition, showcasing their most cherished places. Juan Pablo's pen and ink work captures the depth of cultured landmarks, revealing their cultural and spiritual significance. Sharon’s digital illustrations celebrate the enchantment of everyday haunts and inspiring landscapes. Both artists focus on the essence of a place, inviting viewers to appreciate the beauty and transient nature of each moment. "Celebrating Spaces" offers a tribute to the rich tapestry of our world through their unique perspectives.  

About the Artists

Sharon Lam is an illustrator who loves the challenge of trying to capture the spirit of a place. She began digitally illustrating her family's favourite restaurants, cafes, and parks when her Mom entered hospice care. In their final weeks together, Sharon realized that their favourite memories did not take place on distant vacations but instead at their weekly local haunts.

Sharon’s art aims to celebrate all of the cherished memories that were created in these spots. Her art is offered as prints, greeting and postcards, vinyl stickers, tote bags, coasters & calendars.

Chilean artist Juan Pablo has been honing his skills in drawing with pen & ink for the past decade. Originally an Industrial Designer and professional firefighter, Juan Pablo blended his designer skills with his artistry and varied experience, bringing about a perfect marriage of his passions. Juan Pablo's journey allowed him to breathe the beauty of the buildings and landscapes into his artworks extending the range of his talent.

His observations and the countless hours translating silent reflections into artistic drawing enabled him to capture the details of each place and infuse with life the emotive imagery, truly capturing a serene sense of place and our connection within.
