Join us for an evening celebrating the launch of our inaugural Community Poet and Youth Community Poet program. Meet Jesse Holth and Bennett Gilleland as they share their work, creative practice, and visions for connecting poetry with community life in Saanich.
The evening will begin with a short welcome from staff, followed by readings from both poets. Enjoy light refreshments and engage with the poets in a relaxed, conversational setting.
The evening will conclude with a creative writing activity inspired by theLimelight Youth visual art exhibit, offering a chance to explore poetry in a unique way.
