This is an Employees Only competition: You must be a current employee of the District of Saanich to be considered.
Requirements include completion of Grade 12; a minimum of two years of lifeguarding experience, including at least one year of water park experience; current National Lifeguard certification with Water Park option; current CPR-C and Standard First Aid; and Occupational First Aid Level 1 where required. Canadian Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and/or Trainer certification is considered an asset. Employment is subject to the provision of a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector (PIC-VS) dated within the last six months, with renewal required as per policy. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including daytime, after school, evenings, and weekends; hours and schedules are subject to change based on program needs.
