The Finance Department provides strategic financial leadership and ensures the effective management of public resources. Within the department, Revenue Services is responsible for key functions including property taxation, utility billing, dog licensing, and cash collections. This division is currently seeking a skilled and strategic leader to join the team as Manager of Revenue Services. This is an exciting opportunity for a progressive leader with a track record of driving innovation and modernization.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, complemented by a recognized professional accounting designation (such as a CPA). You will bring at least seven years of progressively responsible experience in municipal government or a related setting, including a minimum of five years in a supervisory or managerial role. Possess comprehensive knowledge of municipal taxation, utility billing, e-commerce systems, and regulatory frameworks. As a confident decision-maker and collaborative leader, the Manager of Revenue Services will provide expert guidance to staff and senior leadership, ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and excellence in customer service. This position also performs statutory duties as Collector for the District and plays a key role in policy development and interdepartmental initiatives.
