The Community Services Division is seeking Inclusion Program Leaders to support Spring Break and Summer Camps across multiple recreation centres and off-site community locations. 2026-01-31 12:00 AMThese casual opportunities support inclusive programming within a variety of camp and recreation environments, working closely with children, families, supervisors, and program staff.
As an Inclusion Program Leader, you will work directly with children (ages approximately 5–12 years) who require additional behavioral, developmental, or physical support, typically within a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio. You will facilitate participation by adapting activities, supporting safe and inclusive environments, and assisting with program planning and delivery. The role requires strong interpersonal and customer service skills, flexibility, enthusiasm, and the ability to work cooperatively with participants, parents, coworkers, and supervisors to ensure program safety, accessibility, and positive experiences for all.

Requirements include completion of Grade 10; a minimum of three months’ experience working with children with behavioural difficulties, disabilities, or additional support needs in a recreational, camp, or instructional setting; Emergency First Aid and CPR-C; and the ability to demonstrate inclusive practices, strong communication skills, and personal motivation. Employment is subject to the provision of a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector (PIC-VS) dated within the last six months, with renewal required as per policy. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
