Saanich, BC – The Saanich Fire Department is implementing a Reflective Address Sign program to support rural residents who may have long driveways or live on a street in low visibility.

As every second counts when you need the assistance of emergency services, this program provides a prominent way of displaying your home’s address which will save emergency personnel precious time in their responses. Additionally, these blue and white reflective markers are easier to see during evening hours or in bad weather conditions.

The program is available to residents throughout the District of Saanich.

The Fire Prevention Division will provide a sign to residents for a fee of $50. The department will also assist with installation upon request. Please call 250-475-5500 or email fireprevention@saanich.ca for more details.
