Saanich, BC – The District of Saanich will be undertaking planned stair construction commencing Monday, September 29, 2025, in preparation for the new cell phone tower project expected to begin in early 2026. For safety concerns, areas around the summit will be blocked off.  Construction will result in a loss of two parking stalls and periodic closures of trails entrances/exits near the summit construction site while work is underway. Stair construction is expected to take 8 weeks.
