Saanich, BC
– Saanich’s Lambrick Park Campus is a popular gathering spot that has brought people together for decades – but how do we modernize it and bring it into the future, and ensure it can continue meeting the needs of our community?

Residents are invited to share their ideas as part of the Lambrick Park Campus Renewal Project. This project is a long-term vision that aims to expand and modernize the existing campus which includes natural areas and open spaces, the Gordon Head Recreation Centre, sports fields and courts, heritage buildings, parks maintenance buildings and ancillary facilities.

“Saanich has a growing and diverse community, and the needs of our residents continue to evolve over time,” says Saanich Mayor Dean Murdock. “Renewing our vision for this key municipal park will allow Saanich to better serve people of all ages who make use of Lambrick’s beautiful green spaces, busy sports facilities and inclusive recreation programming.”

Launching now, round 1 engagement will focus on exploring the vision, goals, and needs for Lambrick Park Campus by evaluating the opportunities and constraints of the park. The input gathered will be summarized and integrated into the concept design phase in 2026.

Round 2 engagement, targeted for early 2027, will present draft concept options for the future of the park. Feeback on the concept options will be integrated into the final proposed plan, directly shaping the future of Lambrick Park Campus.

Residents are encouraged to take part in the District’s engagement activities, learn more about the project and share their current experiences, ideas and vision for what they would like to see.
