Overnight road closure: Cadboro Bay Road at Sinclair Road

Saanich, BC – Overnight work takes place this evening to complete paving on the roundabout at the intersection of Cadboro Bay Road and Sinclair Road.

Paving is scheduled to start tonight (Friday, July 4) at 6 p.m. through to 10 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, July 5). During this time Cadboro Bay Road will be closed between Killarney Road and Penrhyn Street, with no through access. 

The District is encouraging residents and commuters to plan an alternate route during construction.

  • Plan your Caddy Bay visit for another evening: no vehicle access will be permitted to Cadboro-Gyro Park after 6 p.m.
  • Cadboro Bay Village: Businesses will operate on regular hours, but vehicle access will be affected.
  • BC Transit: please check the BC Transit website for alerts.

Please follow all signage and directions in the area. Sinclair Road remains closed.

Why are we doing this?

The Sinclair Road Upgrades project is improving active transportation infrastructure and underground utilities, increasing safety for all road users.
