As part of the ongoing Shelbourne Street Improvements Project, paving will be taking place on Shelbourne Street this week.

This work may cause backups along McKenzie and Shelbourne. Please plan your trips accordingly.

Thursday, March 24

Paving the southbound lanes from the Home Depot driveway to Garnet, with the exception of McKenzie.

• Expect delays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• From approximately 8:30 to 11 a.m., southbound traffic will be local traffic only starting at Feltham. Traffic will be detoured at Feltham. After this time, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
• Access to the University Heights Shopping Centre and the ESSO station will be unavailable from Shelbourne during the morning.

Friday, March 25

Paving the northbound lanes from Garnet to the Home Depot driveway with the exception of McKenzie.

• Expect delays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained.
• During this time, access to residences and businesses on the east side of Shelbourne will be blocked for a few hours at a time.

Paving may continue on the weekend, depending on the weather. We will update this page with any changes as we have more information.
