Each year, approximately 1,000 grade four students learn how to prepare for an emergency. They:

• Discuss what emergencies may occur in our community.
• Learn about making a family plan.
• Learn how to build their own Grab-and-Go Bag.
• Play interactive games.

The Saanich Emergency Program delivers this program in Saanich schools, as a kick off to Emergency Preparedness Week.
