Saanich BusinessCare - FAQ

Answers

  1. Why is the District introducing a program focused on business retention?

Supporting the retention and growth of existing businesses is a core function of any Economic Development Office. Businesses that are already operating in Saanich are in the best position to generate local employment and investment. Furthermore, their perception of the municipality as a supportive and business-friendly environment can strongly influence broader investment decisions and the reputation of the region. As our economy changes, helping businesses remain competitive, sustainable, and connected is more important than ever.

  2. How can businesses participate?

We’re currently booking BusinessCare visits across Saanich. To book a visit or learn more contact the Economic Development Office at ecdev@saanich.ca.

We’ll also be reaching out to local businesses by phone and email.

  3. What will businesses get from this program? What are its benefits for local business owners?

    Your feedback helps the District:

    • Respond to business needs in real time
    • Develop effective programs and policies
    • Monitor trends and emerging issues
    • Celebrate and share local success stories
