SCOPE OF WORK
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the District of Saanich (the “District”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Professional Photography Services, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The District is seeking quotations from qualified firms/individuals to provide professional photography services to various municipal departments on an as when requested basis.
The successful respondent should be readily accessible on short notice to perform photography work at any time during the week including evenings when requested by the District. In general, the District will provide one-week advance notice of an upcoming photoshoot, however, on occasion, the District may require services on a shorter notice (2 to 3 days).
It is the intention of the District to enter into a contract with two (2) successful respondents However, the District may award in the best interest of the District to one or more respondent. The District reserves the right to enter into contracts with any unsuccessful respondent if the successful respondents are not available or underperform. As the projects have not yet been identified, successful respondents awarded will enter into an “on-call” style contract and will be selected for particular assignments based on qualification, expertise, availability and price, in its sole discretion. The District makes no guarantee of the value or volume of work to be assigned to the successful respondents under this RFQ.
Effective April 8, 2022, following the latest BC public health order, the District suspends Covid-19 vaccination requirements from contractors and volunteers who provide service to or on behalf of the District. As has been the case throughout the pandemic, the evolution of the virus and the course of disease activity are difficult to predict, so if the situation changes, it may become necessary for the District to bring back requirements for mask wearing and proof of vaccination on short notice.
