Your Vote Matters

General local elections are held every four years in BC.  The next municipal election will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026.  In Saanich, eligible voters will elect:

  • 1 Mayor and 8 Councillors to Municipal Council
  • Trustees to the School Districts
  • 4 Directors to the Capital Regional District Board (by Community Opinion Question)
