This annual event celebrates migratory birds and this year’s theme centers on the important links between insects and birds. By providing an important food source that gives birds the necessary energy for migration, the presence of insects greatly influences the timing, duration, and overall success of bird migrations. Learn about local birds and insects, participate in a bug hunt or a bird walk, and join in the fun at PKOLS (Mt. Douglas Park). Guided activities take place at 9:00 and 11:00am with displays and games available throughout the morning. All ages and abilities are welcome.
