Saanich Strawberry Festival

Join Saanich in celebrating the 57th annual Strawberry Festival. This family-friendly, fun, free event features live music, kids' activities, bouncy castles, information booths, arts and craft stations and, of course, the traditional servings of strawberries and ice cream. New this year is a farmers' market selling fresh produce and berries!

When: Sunday, July 7, 11 am - 4 pm
Where: Beaver Beach, Elk Lake Regional Park
Admission: Free!

Strawberries and ice cream will be on sale from 2 - 4 pm for $2 per serving.
All cups and spoons are 100% compostable. Please be sure to use the green bins at the event so that we can reduce waste and keep the event environmentally friendly.

Event Updates, Stage Schedules, Vendors:

Stay tuned for information on the main stage, kids' stage and vendor line up. Lots of exciting updates to come!

If you are interested in being a vendor or having a booth at the event, please fill out the form here. Only one submission is allowed per person. If you have any trouble filling it out or have questions, please email or call Sarah Faria, Events Programmer at sarah.faria@saanich.ca or 250.475.5558.

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee you will be selected as a vendor. Preference is given to vendors who clearly demonstrate alignment with the event theme and who are local, but all are welcome to apply. All applications will be carefully reviewed, and final decision regarding vendors will lie with Saanich event staff.

Getting Here (Parking/Shuttle Bus)

The Strawberry Festival is a popular event so parking lots can fill quickly. Overflow parking in the grass area just off Elk Lake will be available and a shuttle bus will be running from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.  The shuttle will pick up guests at Saanich Commonwealth Place near the main entrance roundabout (location #1), then will stop at the overflow parking lot (location #2) and will drop off at the Beaver Beach main parking lot (location #3). The shuttle will continue this loop until 4:00 pm. We recommend taking transit to the Royal Oak Transit Exchange and then walking the short distance to Commonwealth Pool to catch a shuttle.
