May 5 to 11 is Emergency Preparedness Week

During Emergency Preparedness Week we encourage you to visit Saanich.ca/prepare for practical and economical ideas to make preparing for emergencies easier.

Register for our Speaker Series Event on Tuesday, May 7 from 7 - 8 p.m. at Cedar Hill Recreation Centre. The Saanich Emergency Program hosts Theron Finley, of the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria who will discuss the recently discovered X?E,OL,X?ELE? - Elk Lake fault, their research, the various associated seismic hazards and risks and how we can best prepare for an earthquake to emergency preparedness for your pets.
