2010 Business Licences
The Business Licence Bylaw requires that all businesses operating in the District of Saanich be in possession of a valid business licence. |
2010 Dog Licences
The Animals Bylaw requires that all dogs over the age of 4 months be licensed on or before February 1, 2010. |
Prepayment of 2010 Property Taxes
0.25% interest per annum will be allowed on payments of 2010 property taxes made between January 2 and April 30, 2010. Interest will be calculated from the date of payment to July 2, 2010. |
Draft Urban Forest Strategy
Since April of this year we have been working with the community to seek public input on the development of an Urban Forest Strategy for Saanich. We are nearing the conclusion of this project and based on the comments received we have completed the Urban Forest Strategy Draft. |
Municipal Hall Seasonal Closure
The Municipal Hall will close at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2009 and will re-open on Tuesday, December 29th at 8:30 a.m. |
New Director of Parks and Recreation
Mayor Frank Leonard and Saanich Council are pleased to announce that Doug Henderson has been appointed as the District’s Director of Parks and Recreation effective Monday, February 22, 2010. |
