Management Plan Implementation
Many people enjoy Cuthbert Holmes Park for its forests, the Colquitz River, wildlife and trails. The Management Plan outlines improvements that will protect native vegetation and wildlife, remove invasive plants, educate visitors, accommodate recreation and help people find their way in the park.
Some components of the plan must wait until the provincial McKenize Interchange Project is complete.
Currently we’re working on:
- Installing split-rail fencing and information signs to protect delicate riparian areas
- Installing an interpretive sign near The Point
