Swan Creek Park - Pulling Together Event

Date & Time: June 2, 2019 (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm)

Category: Saanich Volunteer Opportunities (See all events in this category)

Join us in Swan Creek Park to help remove invasive species and restore the natural area. Swan Creek Forest is located about 200 meters downstream of where a bridge carries McKenzie Avenue over Swan Creek.  You can access the area by following the path that starts on Columbine Way (about midpoint where there is a crosswalk) and follow the path down to Swan Creek.  Turn left (i.e., downstream) at the intersecting path and follow it for about 5 minutes until you reach a shady grove of tall trees with lots of English Ivy around.

You can also access the site by walking upstream from Violet Avenue or Daisy Avenue ... about 10 minutes to walk (https://goo.gl/maps/xv5JaYq6UPt).
