Bowker Creek in Cedar Hill Park Clean Up

Date & Time: September 21, 2019 (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)

Category: Saanich Volunteer Opportunities (See all events in this category)

Please join us for our eleventh Bowker Creek Clean-Up! These semi-annual events are our chance to have a larger than usual work party focus their efforts on removing invasive species along the banks of the Creek between the two bridges. We have made steady progress over the years, with your support and that of Saanich Parks and the Greater Victoria Green Team, but there are still areas to tame!
Everyone is welcome! No training needed! We provide tools, gloves and refreshments! Be sure to wear old clothes and sturdy shoes!! Any amount of time that you can dedicate will be much appreciated.
Most of all, it is a fun way to spend a Saturday morning and it's great to see the results of our common effort!
WHEN: Saturday, September 21 (rain or shine!)
TIME: 9 - noon (or any portion thereof!)
WHERE: Meet on the gravel parking lot west of the Rec Centre off Finlayson Road
