Please join us for a Saanich summertime tradition, the Cadboro Bay Festival — a free community event in beautiful Cadboro-Gyro Park.
Enjoy an afternoon of games, face painting, info displays, live music, arts and craft stations and food & fun for the entire family!
Based on feedback from local businesses and residents, the Cadboro Bay Festival is evolving toward a more traditional seaside community picnic-style event. What does this mean?
- Enjoy interactive games that recall days gone by, like three-legged races, cornhole, and giant lawn games
- Food is being provided by the Chinatown Lions Club and the Saanich Lions Club instead of by food trucks, as in previous years
- We're saying "so long" to sandcastles and bouncy castles for now

How to get to the Cadboro Bay Festival:
- By bike — enjoy a free bike valet on site
- By bus — on route 11 or 13
- By car — travel north-east on Cadboro Bay Road (through the village) to access event parking at the north-east end of the park
- By shuttle — park in UVic parking lot #5 and enjoy a free shuttle to and from the park between noon and 4pm
*Please note that the main parking lot typically fills quickly on the event day.
