Topic: The Saanich Emergency Program hosts Edd Bennett and Luke Booth of TELUS to discuss how disasters affect communications and how they mitigate impacts to support emergency responders, communities and customers, even in adverse conditions. Using recent disaster examples, such as the 2021 atmospheric river, TELUS will provide insights on preparing for and staying connected during emergencies. 

Each session covers a different topic that could include the hazards that surround us, the utilities we use, or a different perspective related to emergencies and events in our community.
